STORM LORDS : SECOND NIKE SQUAD 2/8

It was time for me to give some love to my Storm Lord Project, so I painted a couple of bikes! Nothing to write home about as I only have bikes from the ''Dark Vengeance'' boxed set. I also took some time to paint the third Centurion. I am only few sessions to completion!

FARSIGHT ENCLAVES : XV88 BROADSIDE SQUAD.

 After many long painting sessions I finaly made it! The sixth and last XV88 Broadside is standing ready to defend the Enclaves against every threat. I will take some break from the Tau project just to make more time for the Storm Lords. I still have to paint four more Centurions and I need all the time my Cygnar project will allow me! So stay tuned as more models are coming out from the paintstation!

SALAMANDERS : TOURNAMENT PREPARATIONS!

Here I am again preparing my self for one more tournament! My gaming buddies and I are going to participate to the ''Genocide Chronicles'', a Team Tournament that I will have the honor to represent the mighty Adeptus Astartes.

It became a habbit of mine to add some more models to the army I am going to play, so I saw fit to add more melta guns to my Salamander Drop Pod Assault Roster. I run three cheap drop pods, each one carrying a combat squad armed with melta guns.To make things worse for my opponents I armed the Sergeants with a combi melta gun! Did I mention that all this melta death is twin-linked? Now, having 3 pods in your deployment area demolishing your precious tanks not only is an extra victory point (due to first blood) but is also a psychological blow that my opponent will have a hard time overcoming! So this will be one of the dirty little strategies I am going to employ. I hope you like the models, I certainly do!

WARMACHINE : STORMCLAD AND JOURNEYMAN WARCASTER

The last two weeks were really chaotic in my real life job.Thankfully, everything went well so now I can return to my paintstation! I have to say that I spent a lot of time reading Warmachine so it was appropriate to paint a couple of minatures! I added to my Cygnar collection a Stormclad Warjack, a hard hitting warjack and a Journeyman Warcaster to help the focus management of my army!

WARMACHINE : CYGNAR STARTER.

Today was a good day! I had my first experience of Warmachine! Just a couple of 11p games with only the starter boxed sets! A really nice game system with balanced rules and as everybody told me "No single miniature is a waste of money'', something that is great for me since I have whole units (or even worse armies) in my collection that never fired a signle shot or through a single blow to the tabletop.

So here is my starter Cygnar box in all its glory! I really look forward to more and bigger games!

STORM LORDS : DEVASTATOR CENTURION (2/5)

I managed to finish the second Centurion for the Storm Lords project I am building! Also I took the chance to play against a White Scar, bike themed 1850p army list with my competitive Tau roster! I didn't fare well but I am sure that I will do way better next time! What I did like was the way a bike army plays nowdays and this realisation gave me enough motivation to not stray again to a new project but to stay οn the path! Of cource I painted some more melta guns for my Salamanders but thats a story for another time! Never the less, I wish you all a very Merry Christmas!!!

FARSIGHT ENCLAVES : XV88 BROADSIDE [5/6]

I am getting myself ready for the last Tournament of 2013. For one more time I will trust my honor on my Tau Army! I am relying heavilly to my XV88s so I finished painting one more! I Intent to bring the might of 3 XV104s and 6 XV88s. Lately I find the Kroot Mercenaries more and more attractive as a strategy so maybe the new year will find me painting some of those models!
