Dark Angels : Interogator Chaplain Seraphicus

As the last post of this year allow me to close the ''Project Dark Angels'' as we know it already. In a few days the new codex will bring new tactics, new models and new rules. As such, I am happy that I finished the ''Dark Vengeance'' and ''Assault on the Black Reach'' box sets and some more models! Now I feel confident to start this new year with more models , making my Project a Competitive Army.

TAU EMPIRE : XV88 BROADSIDE

With the Genocide Chronicles Tournament just around the corner I have to speed up the Tau project so to be ready for it. 1750p with ETC rules and I am just few models short.
My XVs crisis and broadsides are ready and my hammerhead too. I am 17 fire warriors and two devilfish short but thankfully, I have the models assembled and undercoated allready, so I will have to be quicker than usual to finish the army.

Bretonnians : Knights of the realm

I have a secret project. I paint a bretonnian knight every time I return home from my current deployment. So till now I have painted these two knights. I have more in various stages of completion but right now only these two I feel confident to present.

Dark Angels : The second's squad Razorback

I finaly finished the Dark Angels Razorback I wanted, but not without troubles. I am in Athens these days for Christmas and in the transit from Crete to Athens I forgot to take some painted parts of the vechcle, so I painted the missing parts again scavenging from other kits. Long story short, this Razorback took me longer to finish.

On the bright side now, I took part in a large 12.000 point battle last Friday at the Battle Bunker Club, with my Angels Sanguine Force. I allied my Angels with Panagiotis' Tau against an evil alliance of Aris' Emperor's Children and Promithea's Necrons. The only prerequisite was the ''NO BLOODY VEHICLES'' rule. A really fun game with some great friends that took us about 6 hours to finish. We had good time all of us so we didn't count who won. I am really looking forward to play them again.

Dark Angels : Captain Balthasar and an extra DeathWing

Thank the Emperor this week is over. The most stressfull and tirring week I had for a while is finaly over. Thankfully, everything went well and all our plans worked fine that now I can enjoy a cup of coffee and smile.
I was able to finish only two models for my Dark Angels. The Dark Vengeance Captain and a Deathwing Terminator. I hope next week to be able to finish both my Razorback and the Chaplain I have in mind. Till then take care everyone!

Salamanders : 3rd Tactical Squad

Some more reingforcement for the Salamander's army. After a couple of games the Drop pod army proved quite good. The only trouble is the close range support land speeders are not performing so well as in the last edition, so I decided to swap those models for one more Tactical Squad in a drop pod. Here's the first 3 models. As always the heavy weapon of choice is the ''free'' Multi Melta that under ForgeFather's special rules is twin linked.

WiP:Razorback/Rhino interior

Just a heads up from the Razorback project. I decided that it was time for me to paint the interior of my fighting vehicles. Here's a picture before gluing and painting the hull of my latest war-machine. I hope the machine's spirit will be happy!!

Tau Empire : XV8 Crisis Suit

I really hope that 2013 will bring a Tau codex. I just love the idea of full XV Crisis and Broaside battlesuit sweeping the battlefield with heavy fire, eliminating any resistance. Until then of course, I will play with my current roster consisting no less than 10 XVs. So, I painted one more just to be ready for the new codex. Also in line are a Devilfish APC and no less than 30 fire warriors. Wow a lot of work don't you all agree?

Flames Of war : M4 Sherman Tanks

...and suddently Flames Of War.

Many of my friends from the Battle Bunker Club recommended to me the game. The thought that you can repeat major or minor battles from the 2nd World War was to my liking, so I watched some battles and the instruction videos from the battlefront site and decided to give it a try.

Long story short, I ordered the starter box set and with the help of my friends I assembled and painted my first plattoon. Really easy to paint and assemble as the scale is way too small but cute never the less.

You will sure notice the lack of decals.Unfortunetly the starter box doesn't have any. I really look forward to painting more.

Dark Angels : Deathwing Terminator Squad

The 3rd in the row vow for the bolter and chainsword com is finished. I had a lot of fun painting those guys as the detail work is top notch. It took me some more time than usual ofcourse but I can't complain, the results are to my liking.
One of the things I changed painting, was the use of the codex grey-Astronomican grey-skull white pattern of my purity seals istead of the usual Denev Stone - Skull White I use to any other marine army I own. Certainly I'm going to keep the new recipe for all the Deathwing Terminators from now on.
Also, on the paintstation the Imperial Guard recieves the last 5 members for the 5 squads Infantry Platoon and some Angels Sanguine Assault Marines to finish the 3rd Assault Squad. Please await more action soon. Take care!

Dark Angels : Deathwing 2nd Squad

Ιt's this time of the year again when my determination is failing and my concetration is straying to other projects. Thankfully, I am very near to completing my Bolter and chainsword.com vow and finishing the Dark Vengeance boxed set.
I decided to turn my existing armies to competitive army lists. So await some playtesting and more tournament participation in the future.

Angels Sanguine : Death Company 9/12

The Pure Death company project is flying. I really find it difficult to paint the terminators for the Bolter and chainsword.com vow but I'll manage.
These models are the old metal Death Company models I salvaged from my previous Blood Angels army. I only added few plastic parts from the new plastic kit and are ready to war

Dark Angels : Deathwing Terminators (2nd Squad)

A new vow for the bolter and chainsword, dark angels subforum.The third in the row and quite proud of it. This time the Dark Angels are receiving a brand new Deathwing Terminator Squad taken from the Dark Vengeance starter set.Those models have a ''Space Hulk'' feeling on them that I really like. The quality of the models is top notch too and the details are easy to identify and paint. So stay with me as I still have 20 more days to complete my Vow..

Angels Sanguine : Death Company 6/15

I simple love painting death company. Simply the sight of a full death company is enough to drive me forward to finish this latest update to my Angels Sanguine army before December.
Also on my paintstation the Deathwing Squad from Dark Vengeance are WiP. Lot of work.

ANGELS SANGUINE : DEATH COMPANY

Ι will participate in the ICT V the biggest 40K tournament in Greece. I planned to participate in the ICT IV but I didn't have a competitive roster.
So I decided to rely again on my Angels Sanguine army once more, but this time with a whole different roster.
Last time I was fielding 3 Land Raiders, assault squads and terminators, I even fielded a Scout Sniper Squad. 
This time I am going for a pure death company roster. I am only 15 astartes short and a Storm Raven. Luckilly I will salvage some models from the failed projects box and I already own a spare raven for the job.So I took up a brush and here the first 3 astartes. Hope you like them!

TAU EMPIRE : XV8 Crisis Suit

A recent game against Tau led me to paint one more XV8 Crisis for my Tau Force. As always the model is fully magnetized in addition to the highly dynamic pose. I hope you like it!
Also, I began the painting of a pure death company army list. I plan to try some glow effects on this new project so I also present some results.So my hands are full again.Take care every one!

Dwarfs : the Second Rank of Miners

Μore Dwarfs more miners! This army is sure fun to paint and play! I had my first game a week before and I think I will paint a 1000p force before the end of 2012!

Angels Sanguine : Assault Marines

Winter is Coming and the Angels Sanguine are returning. I will participate in the ICT5 (Indipedent Club Tournament 5) next year so I need to build and paint an effective and not overly abused army list. So I painted 3 more assault marines to get in the mood. I hope you like them!

Dark Angels : Tactical Squad ''Raphael''

With the second Tactical Squad complete I finished the October's promise.The Dark Vengeance models are awesome and it was a pleasure to paint. I plan to give the squad a razorback or to add some additional special and heavy weapons for more versatility. I can't wait for the new codex!

DARK ANGELS : TACTICAL SQUAD 70% completed!

The Dark Angels are dominating my paint station as I am in the final stages of completing the Tactical Squad. Also, on the paint station I have in various stages of completion 3 more Angels Sanguine Assault Marines as I plan to finish the third assault squad for the Angels Sanguine collection. An XV8 Crisis is the last salvagable unit rescuable from the failing projects box. And finally, one more Dwarven Miner's rank. Too much work isn't?
