Angels Sanguine Devastator Squad.

With the Grey Knight project in full speed it's no wonder that the Angels Sanguine and Ogre Kingdoms Projects are staying behind. 
Well, to be honnest the Angels are in the slow speed when the Ogres are at a temporary stop. I don't know, 
maybe I lost motivation and faith to the Hellenic (Greek if you prefer) Warhammer Fantasy community (better say group.) after 
the recent events.


Thankfully the Cretan group in Crete is running a small and friendly campaign so my motivation for the WH40K 
is really kicking in those last weeks. So, I thought to slowly but surely fininsh the Squads I left incomplete.
Today I finished the Devastator Squad I had in mind. I hope you like it.

Grey Knight Paladin Army List 40% complite

After some quality time with family and Lizzy my wife, I returned back to Athens. Lizzy came back with a wonderful tan and I came back with some new painted models. I was able to finish two more grey knight terminators and a veteran sergeant for the Angels Sanguine Devastator Squad. Also, I found in my army case some older grey knight terminators. Yay my lucky day indeed!

Those models are the new plastic Terminators.

Vacations in progress

As I hope you all have already understood I live in Greece (please for the sake of my "thin sanity" lets all in this blog call this country Hellas). I work in Crete an island south of Athens but my heart and home lies in Athens. To make the situation more complicated my parents live in Ios, another island between Athens and Crete. My mother always complains that I visit Ios very little and that's the truth. My last visit was 2 years ago so it was not so bad of an idea to spend my vacations in the Ios Island. And here I am.

So, I took with me my paints, brushes and some models (truth be told I forgot to take with me some T-Shirts) and off I went. In this post I will show (off) where my paintstation is.

I am painting at the front big veranda with this fantastic view on the island's port

 

To trasport from Crete to Athens to Ios my paints, brushes and models I used my notebook's carry case. The rest are easy to find. A napkin, some water and an old CD case is all you need to start painting even in the middle of nowhere!

Grey Knights Paladin with Nemesis Falchions and a friend from the past

I finished the 6th Terminator for the 1750p roster I currently have. Honestly I really think that the Nemesis Force Weapons I paint are getting better and better. Αlso, this time I present my old Grey Knight Dreadnought armed with Twin Las Cannons and a Missile Launcher. It will get some more love in the form of  the formidable ''Mortis'' pattern Twin AutoCannons armament.

Angels Sanguine Vanguard Veteran #3

The latest addition to the Angels Vanguard Squad is this collector model. Well, the only issue this model has is that it is helmetless. According to the chapter fluff all the Angels Sanguine Astartes don't show their faces to outsiders, but I guess I can do some exceptions don’t you think?

Grey Knight Paladin Army List (25% complete)

Psycannons are deadly weapons able to ruin light and heavy infantry or light and heavy vehicles.An all around weapon able to cover all your tactical needs with short two seconds bursts.

The good news are that you own a weapon able to detonate almost anything (except of monoliths).A weapon upgradable (+1str) and with 4 of those guns in the 10man Paladin Squad for only 80 points is a bargain!
The bad news are that the model itself is crap.I prefer the old models.One more bad think is that every box only got 1 psycannon model and this is bad.

Thankfully I found a solution for both problems.Convert the models.So i took the assault cannon stock i had and here you have it.PURGE THE DAEMON

Grey Knight Paladin Army List (15% complete)

Thank the Emperor and His divine light for the plastic Grey Knight Terminators! I have so much fun painting that I already finished the 3rd. Well, if you consider that I am a slow painter and in less than a week I painted 3 and the rest 2 are about 70% complete that is surely an accomplishment. At the same time I paint the collector's metallic Blood Angel Vanguard Veteran and a Salamander AOBR marine. Till then have a couple of pictures of the latest Grey Knight armed with a fearsome Daemon Hammer!
