Tyranids : The fourth Brood of termagants

Finaly back! My recent transfer from Crete back to Athens consumed all of my free time. Thankfully, all went well and now I am back with some well earned and needed vacations. My projects were delayed but now I am back on the saddle again!
My latest project will recieve one more score of termagants. This is the forth brood and as the tradition goes next model will be a Tervigon. Alongside with the huge creture I also paint the second Vindicator for my Angels Sanguine Chapter and also the new Lord Executioner Captain again for my Angels. Stay tuned everyone and take care!

Tyranids:More Termagants

I don't know exactly why, but every time I purchace a Tyranid boxed set I tend to glue and paint it in no time! With it I also bought the ''How to paint Citadel Minatures'' - a really intresting book! I tried the Tyranid "how-to" the book had and here are the results. I think I will keep my own approach of how to paint flesh and I will adapt the carapace recipe the book suggests !So long then!

Tyranids : The Second Brood

One more Termagant unit is done! I really enjoy this project, but I am afraid that I run out of models, so I will just wait for the next time I will return home to buy a Tervigon. Everyone needs a mother even if you are a six-legged, sharp-toothed super killer!

Tyranids : Termagant brood

And suddently Tyranids.I succefully modeled and painted a 1850p Tau list. I put the list to the test of a hard tournament and came out satisfied. My roster is valid and challenging (considering of course that my codex is two editions behind), yet fun for both me and my opponent to face. Exactly what I was looking for.

It is time of course, to go on. So I decided to paint a Tyranid army. Shooting the heck out of my opponent is suprinsigly fun, but now I want to discover the joys (and horrors) of the close quarter combat, so I purchased two boxes of Termagants and started. My efforts were to find a way to paint those critters in a fast yet descent way. Please remember these models are termagants and I am bound to remove them from the table in big bunches.Or to place them the same way. I hope you like them!
