FARSIGHT ENCLAVES : XV8 CRISIS BATTLESUIT

The XV8 Crisis Battlesuit is one of my favoured Citadel's Plastic kits! I feel excited everytime I get a new model. I extensively search the blogsphere and Google to find a new way to model or even paint some new detail on my new model. So, here is the third XV8 Crisis Battlesuit for my Farsight Enclaves collection! I hope you all like it.!

FARSIGHT ENCLAVES : SHAS'O BRAVESTORM

I am really excited about my new Farsight Project! I just finished Commander Bravestorm and I am really pleased about this model! I faced some difficulties because I was not able to decide how to model the Onager Gauntlet. I browsed the net for a conversion but I wasn't able to find one that pleased my eyes so I decided to let it as it is! I hope you all like it!

FARSIGHT ENCLAVES:SHAS'O BRIGHTSWORD.

Shas'O Farsight was a really nice model to paint! I really enjoyed painting this particular model so I decided to paint one more XV8! I read the ''FarSight Enclaves supplement'' and I was impressed by Commander BrightSword! The fact that he can use his fusion blasters in close combat is amazing! So, I converted his fusion blades by adding some more height to the regular fusion blaster a shield generator and the target lock bits! I didn't forget to add some magnets too! So now this model can change its weaponry to better suit the battlefield conditions!

FARSIGHT ENCLAVES : SHAS'O FARSIGHT

I was really skeptical about this model! Commander Farsight is hands down one of the best Tau model out there! Its pose is dynamic and the sculpt itself is amazing! My only issue was the fact that the model belongs to the Fine[fail]cast range!

I reluctantly took the model to the counter of my local game store! I convinced myself that the Space Marine Lord Executioner I purchased last time was a very good model. Then I paid! I took Farsight to my gaming club. I gathered all my tools and unboxed the XV8 hero! 

Wow!!! Just WOW...!!! 

The model was in perfect condition and I was so happy about it that I cleaned... assembled ...undercoated my Farsight like a whipped rat! It didn't take much time to finish it in all his red glory! The model wad a pleasant surprise so I also bought the Farsight Enclaves Codex! Who knows maybe I will try and paint some more models from "The Eight'' of the Farsight's Enclaves Supplement!

Tau Empire : XV8 Crisis Suit

I really hope that 2013 will bring a Tau codex. I just love the idea of full XV Crisis and Broaside battlesuit sweeping the battlefield with heavy fire, eliminating any resistance. Until then of course, I will play with my current roster consisting no less than 10 XVs. So, I painted one more just to be ready for the new codex. Also in line are a Devilfish APC and no less than 30 fire warriors. Wow a lot of work don't you all agree?

TAU EMPIRE : XV8 Crisis Suit

A recent game against Tau led me to paint one more XV8 Crisis for my Tau Force. As always the model is fully magnetized in addition to the highly dynamic pose. I hope you like it!
Also, I began the painting of a pure death company army list. I plan to try some glow effects on this new project so I also present some results.So my hands are full again.Take care every one!

Tau Empire : Magnetised XV8 Crisis Suit

I had some free time this week so I painted some more those days.The result is one more magnetised XV8 crisis suit for my Tau army. Also this week, I painted some pathfinders and I will play some more 40K battles hoping to like the new game.

A REQUIEM FOR A CRISIS

Again back to the Tau with an XV 8 Crisis. I decided to reposition the arms and legs of the XV Crisis suit, also I converted a new head with some spare components. I hope you like it, I certainly do!
