Imprerial Guard : Leman Russ Tank

So I visited the Battle Bunker Club the other day armed with colours and a glued Leman Russ. I was motivated to speed paint the vehicle to a decent standard, so I asked for help from my friends Arion and Promitheas Spyridis, owners of the X2 studios to teach me how to add some weathering tricks to the model. The Leman Russ took me less than 4 hours to complete (undercoat included)
So here is the result. I hope you like it!!!

Imperial Guard : the 5th Infantry Squad

In the new infantry based edition it's my belief that the infantry based armies will be more competative, so I will return my attention to the poor footslogging blokes of the Imperial Guard. So 5 more Imperial infantry soldiers joined the hostile ranks of the 135th's ''Shadows'' Regiment.

The forth Infantry Squad.

Under the stern eye of the commisar I managed to paint the 4th Infantry Squad of the Platoon I wanted. Only one squad left and the platoon will be complete. Alas the fifth squad will have to wait. The Purifier Squad and the Salamander Sternguard will take priority! You will hear from me soon enough, till then take care!

I for Infantry!

Μore Imperial guardmen today too. This time 5 Las Guns to complete the second infantry squad. Also a full plasma Platoon Command Squad. The command squad is a kind donation from Demetris (Ezekiel) Sfantos and are the 4th edition pewter models. Thank you man!

A large portion of this project is out of donations. Almost every member from the Battle Bunker club had models for donation or trade or sale in very friendly prices. This way the project will be completed with minimum expenses. So, I have to thank each and every friend for helping me out on this project.

2nd INFANTRY SQUAD

The Imperial Project is flying. Thanks to the colour scheme and the motivation I’ve got to paint this army I think I' ll be able to paint the Imperial Battleforce before Easter. I decided to stick to the Tau Wrecks bases and in the next updates add some ruins too. I think this army is a nice opportunity to improve my base building skills.

New Project : Imperial Guard

I tried so hard to resist! I played it! I liked it! I' ll paint it! Yes, it's time to drop the Astral claws and Vampire counts projects. I didn't invest on those armies anyway! I am starting Imperial Guard.
I am going to build a DIY regiment the 135th Regiment '' Shqdows''. I plan all my models to be from the Cadian range and to keep the theme to 3 colours minimum. So, stay with me as I plan to get this army over in less than 6 months... Got to paint now...clock's ticking!

Αstartes and mortals

Those last 10 days was fun. Working overtime and under extreme weather conditions is always intresting but I have seen worse, way worse. Well, not all 10 days was all work. I also picked up my first battles with the Imperial guard. Stelios was kind enough to lend me his Imps and I enjoyed it greatly. With 20 or so guardsmen taken from a friend I couldn't resist but paint a test model! Other than that I painted one more Assault Marine for my third Assault Squad. See you everyone!
