Grey Knights : Dreadnought #3

As I grew tired from the Tau, Dark Angels and Salamanders project, I painted this awesome model. Armed with twin linked auto cannons and instant killing some screamers, this model will surely see a lot of Daemon-busting action in near future. Soon, Mr. Laskulas you will feel the purifying lights of the Emperor's guns.

Purifier Squad:The End!

My Grey Knight Purifier Squad is finaly colmpleted. It's an amazingly satisfying feeling that warms you up and gives you the motivation to put your best foot forward and carry on with the rest of your projects. So, right now the Salamander Sternguard Veteran and some Handgunners are waiting patiently on the PaintStation.

Purifier Squad : Nearly there

The Purifier Squad is one model shy to completion but real life troubles are still making my painting life harder. As the day is growing larger my Cycling and Running sessions are growing too. Oh well, I can't complain, the weather is wonderfull and I can see no reason not to make the best of it!

Grey Knights Purifiers

Some more purifiers for my Grey Knights project only 3 models away to finish the squad. I have to admit that I love Nemesis Force Halberds, especially when death stars are charging my units. Having the option to strike at initiative 6 with str5 power weapons with two attacks a piece is certainly worth the points. So strike first, strike hard buy halberds

Grey Knight's Purifiers!

The Purifier squad recieved some reinforcements. I am very pleased with the results so keep an eye for more in the very near future. I even magnetised the backpacks so to be able to mount onto the squad, the personal teleporters and play as an Interceptor Squad. Unfortunately, I am out of magnets! Oh well :) !

Grey Knights Purifiers

My next Grey Knight project is already in progress and it includes: A librarian (finished) A Purifiers/Interceptors Squad (I will magnetize the Backpacks) A Storm Raven (assembled) Also on my paintstation, I am ready to finish the second Attack bike for my Angels Sanguine roster - I am planning on taking to the second I.C.Tournament - a Salamander Assault Terminator, the seventh of the squad and maybe the last one for now and a Shas-el for the Tau project. A lot of work don't you agree? A lot of work as we are awaiting for the second season of the Game of thrones series to air and less than two months for the new Diablo 3 game to be published I just can't wait :)

Grey Knight Dreadnought

A dreadnought costing only 135p, able to unleash 4 twin-linked str8 shots and almost immune to ''crew shaken - stunned'' results? Huh! I am convinced! Shut Up and take my money!
A dreadnought like that is worth the 40-50 Euros investment but I was having this AOBR dread for so many years that I thought it would be a waste of resources (aka money) to give away. So I did this little conversion out of sprues. Now it doesnt look so plain!

Grey Knights : Librarian

I wanted a Librarian for my Grey Knight army.The Terminator model is really awesome but I really hated the original stuff the model holds, so I swaped it for a force sword to increase the survivability of the Librarian. I also hated the head. I used a spare grey knight power armoured helmet. I am sure this model will see a lot of use in the future.I hope you like it!

Lord Kaldor Draigo.

Ahhh. I never thought that a day wouldl come that I wouldl miss the metal models !And so that day came when I first saw a (fail)cast model. No matter how much I love the company as a Gamer/Painter/Collector I find it difficult to convice myself to buy again a finecast product.
Here is Draigo. When I first opened its package I had to clean so many parts, to fill so many gaps, to file/fill bubbles before undercoating the model. A whole adventure by its self! Then undercoating was bad too. I had to undercoat over and over again just to make the paint stay in place. Worse yet, the sword arm was completely ruined. The storm bolter was pressed so much that no matter how I tried I couldn't save it, so I glued a plastic sword arm to get over it.
After all this battle I have these results to show. 
Next Grey Knight update will be a Librarian, a ten man purifier squad and a strom raven. See you.

Of Knights and Angels

As the Grey Knight Project expanded to a Twin Auto Cannon Dreadnought I guess it will not hurt to paint a strike squad. Having about 15 oop power armoured knights I am sure I can paint/salvage a strike squad at 0 price and save 10 models from the Failed Projects Box.
In the same time and with no reason at all I have started to paint a 3rd Assault Squad for my Angels Sanguine. Having so many Assault Marines never hurt anyone.
Tomorrow I will attend to the biggest 40K tournament ever held in Greece. A 52 players event called Indipendent Club Tournament organised by the Battle Bunker Club (this is the gaming club I belong for almost 6 years) and Espairos (another club for RPGs and tabletop games in general). Judging from yesterday's battles I have no chance in hell to be competitive so I will try for some friendly easygoing battles to awake the tactical monster I hide deep down!

20 Grey Knight Terminators Wishes everyone ''Happy New Year''

One way or another I finished the 20 Terminators I wanted for the Grey Knight Army I had in mind. That was the first phase of the Grey Knight Project but I will waste no time at all proceeding to the next phase. So, a Librarian and Lord Draigo himself will grace my paint station. Also, a Dreadnought and 2 pairs of Twin Linked Auto Cannons.
But enough reading. Please enjoy the full glory of 20 Terminators.

More knights shorter Psycannons!

With only 5 days till new year I am trying to finish my 20 Grey Knights roster. Right now I have only one left.
One more new problem is that I totally forgot that I still lack a 5 man assault squad for the new Angel Sanguine roster I plan to take with me for the I.C. Tournament I will attend at 08/01/2012.
Even worse I fancy to compete with 3 land raiders, two of them to be with las cannons (Phobos pattern) when I only have one.
So no rest for me I have to paint! A lot!

                               

                                              

More Paladin action and a tiny Empire model!

My recent assignment drove me away from my beloved wife (and her cute cats), away from my hobby (yes I'm talking about 40K here) and friends! Thankfully, here I made new friends and lately we made a gaming table to enjoy 40K. Now every third or second day I can host a game and we can discuss WARHAMMER as much as we want.
Today I have one more Paladin and a Handgunner but soon the Grey Knights will terorize the new gaming table as I am only 3 models away from the LvL 1 Grey Knights list I am intending to do.
