It's true that the Command Squad I painted for my Dark Angels was a little toο friendly. The unit's loadout was a huge point sink, so I bought a veteran squad from Ebay for just few euros. The models were undercoated and assembled, something really good for a lazy guy like me! It only took me few minutes to re-arm my new veterans with plasma guns !I hope you all like them!

DARK ANGELS : RAZORBACK
One more Razorback this week for my Dark Angels 3rd Tactical Squad! The ''Barakiel'' is another model I managed to revive back from the ''failed project box''. I even managed to paint a small freehand on its hull. A watcher in the dark bearing two swords! I am very pleased with the result and maybe I will try it on a land raider I plan to restore! Thanks for watching and have a nice day!

DARK ANGELS : COMMAND SQUAD COMPLETE
After so many Tau models I finished the last models for my Dark Angels Command Squad! These two models are special indeed!
Chaplain Asmodai is a very old model and one of the first models I ever purchased! The venerable Chaplain was painted in the black and red colours of my very first Space Marine army and I was looking for a way to strip the old paint from the model to paint it anew! Thankfully, a good friend showed me a really easy way to do it so... Chaplain Asmodai is now ready to see battle!
The Standard bearer on the other hand, is coming from the old range of Citadel plastic kit so nothing really intresting here! What makes this model special is the freehand banner! Now hold your horses it's not really my work! A junior member of Athens Battle Bunker Club named Aris Aggoglosakis, a gifted painter and a shit for brains youth, was kind enough to paint this ''Standard of Devastation''. Thank you so much Aris!

Dark Angels : Command Squad 4/6
More models for the Dark Angels Command Squad I am painting! This time an Apothecary and the Sergeant of the squad are reporting for duty! I am sure that this squad is point heavy and also useless! Never the less, the Dark Angels Project is not about competitiveness! If I want to enjoy an easygoing game where a unit's performance is coming second then the Dark Angels will be ready to answer the call! Also, on my paintstation a new project is ready to reveal itself... but more about it in a few days! Stay cool everyone!

DARK ANGELS : COMMAND SQUAD 2/5
With the secrets about the new Space Marine Codex soon to be revealed I decided to paint a new squad for my Dark Angels! As a man who can't keep his concetration for long I decided to sit back and leisurely paint a Command Squad for my boys in green.
The first model is a veteran with bolter! What makes this model special is that we are talking about a classic miniature! It's a metallic model out of production. I armed it with a bolter as I really want to play with this model as much as I can and a bolter wielding astartes is bound to be used a lot!
The Second is from the new range of citadel plastics! My Company Champion is wielding a power-sword taken from a spare Grey Knights sprue. Some filing and I was able to fit the Dark Angel combat shield quite nicely!

Dark Angels : More Deathwing Terminators!!!
More Deathwing! Terminators are by far my favoured style of play. It so happened to find the last models on my failed projects box and decided to paint them anew. I still have some more back in Crete, but I believe that by the end of this year those models will be full fledged Deathwing Terminators. Once finished, I will be taking this army to the biggest (...and best, if you want) Greek Tournament hoping again for the ''Favoured Player'' award or the ''Best Dark Angel Player'' award.Well, why not both? :)
I wasn't able to resist a sneak pic about what else is right now on the Paintstation!!!

DARK ANGELS : 3rd TACTICAL SQUAD 70% complete
I really like the new Dark Angels Codex. It's balanced enough to enjoy a friendly battle. That being said I personally don't think that the Dark Angels will have a lot of luck at a competitive environment of a hard tournament. Never the less, I still enjoying painting ''the unforgiven'' and I am really close to finishing the 3rd Tactical Squad. I hope you like them!

Dark Angels : Ravenwing Attack Squad.`+
The new Tau codex is indeed the hot news of the week! Thankfully, my Tau project is complete, so now I just have to wait for the new models and codex to arrive hot from the printing machines!
My paintstation is full with Dark Angels this time and for me to be more specific, I paint the black brotherhood of the Ravenwing also known and as bikers. I took some old models I bought back in 2004 and I only recently found out that I have in the ''Failed Project Box'', so I gave it a try. I hope you like them.

Dark Angels : Grand Master Samael
Grand Master Samael is the latest addition to my Dark Angels collection. The model was easy to build as I was already having the ravenwing upgrade sprue and I just bought a Land speeder. That way the model really came up cheap. To be honest I wasn't even afraid to spend some money for the jetbike version of the model. What was terrified me was the prospect to model and paint a model from the ''failcast'' range. Anyway, I hope you like it!

Dark Angels : Nephilim Jetfighter
I wasn't able to resist. Along with the new Dark Angels Codex I purchased a Nephilim Jetfighter. Not the best looking flyer model in the grim 40K universe, not even the best flyer to play with. It's expensive and outclassed compared to the Vendetta Gunship and outgunned compared to the StormRaven Gunship, but still, it is a Dark Angels model so I coudn't resist the urge to claim it for my Dark Angel collection.

Dark Angels : 3rd Tactical Squad (30% Complete)
Greetings everyone and Happy new Year! More Dark Angels! This chapter is ideal to restore old models from old failed projects. Models that I was an inch from throwing away are becoming one of my best projects yet. I still own a large number of models so I decided that few of them will become the third Tactical Squad. Here are the first 3 models.

Dark Angels : Interogator Chaplain Seraphicus
As the last post of this year allow me to close the ''Project Dark Angels'' as we know it already. In a few days the new codex will bring new tactics, new models and new rules. As such, I am happy that I finished the ''Dark Vengeance'' and ''Assault on the Black Reach'' box sets and some more models! Now I feel confident to start this new year with more models , making my Project a Competitive Army.

Dark Angels : The second's squad Razorback
I finaly finished the Dark Angels Razorback I wanted, but not without troubles. I am in Athens these days for Christmas and in the transit from Crete to Athens I forgot to take some painted parts of the vechcle, so I painted the missing parts again scavenging from other kits. Long story short, this Razorback took me longer to finish.
On the bright side now, I took part in a large 12.000 point battle last Friday at the Battle Bunker Club, with my Angels Sanguine Force. I allied my Angels with Panagiotis' Tau against an evil alliance of Aris' Emperor's Children and Promithea's Necrons. The only prerequisite was the ''NO BLOODY VEHICLES'' rule. A really fun game with some great friends that took us about 6 hours to finish. We had good time all of us so we didn't count who won. I am really looking forward to play them again.

Dark Angels : Captain Balthasar and an extra DeathWing
Thank the Emperor this week is over. The most stressfull and tirring week I had for a while is finaly over. Thankfully, everything went well and all our plans worked fine that now I can enjoy a cup of coffee and smile.
I was able to finish only two models for my Dark Angels. The Dark Vengeance Captain and a Deathwing Terminator. I hope next week to be able to finish both my Razorback and the Chaplain I have in mind. Till then take care everyone!
And also my Deathwing now looks like...That

Dark Angels : Deathwing Terminator Squad
The 3rd in the row vow for the bolter and chainsword com is finished. I had a lot of fun painting those guys as the detail work is top notch. It took me some more time than usual ofcourse but I can't complain, the results are to my liking.
One of the things I changed painting, was the use of the codex grey-Astronomican grey-skull white pattern of my purity seals istead of the usual Denev Stone - Skull White I use to any other marine army I own. Certainly I'm going to keep the new recipe for all the Deathwing Terminators from now on.
Also, on the paintstation the Imperial Guard recieves the last 5 members for the 5 squads Infantry Platoon and some Angels Sanguine Assault Marines to finish the 3rd Assault Squad. Please await more action soon. Take care!
